I never liked how shy and awkward he was in the series. Also, I love how you've tempered Bates' assholiness. I mean he's still kind of an asshole but in a good way. :D And, I know it wouldn't advance the story or anything but if you're in the mood to write another companion piece, I would LOVE to see the scene with O'Neill banging Simmons on his desk. I really enjoyed that whole scene and how they were helplessly, and happily, drawn together. And I also like seeing minor canon characters flesh out. The part with Elizabeth going all possessive over Simon was so cute. It made me wonder though. Back in the first part Director Morris had a secret sex bond with his sentinel and a wife as well. I can understand that the wife thought the bond was platonic, but how did his sentinel deal with him having sex with his wife?
