Keira Marcos

In my spare time I write fan fiction and lead a cult of cock worshippers on Facebook. It's not the usual kind of hobby for a "domestic engineer" in her 30's but we live in a modern world and I like fucking with people's expectations.

70 Comments:

  1. Thank you.
I never tear up or cry when I read (but I cry at the drop of a hat when watching TV or a movie, go figure) but I cried reading The Unspeakable Plot – Triad Edition, and over an hour after finishing it I am still tearing up. (I feel like I should add the disclaimer that I am not PMSing, lol.)
I had forgotten how devastating and powerful the original story was, and how much it made my heart ache, but this…this version just broke me. I know it is going to haunt my dreams. It’s amazing how easily Draco slipped into the story, and how much more pain and heartbreak he adds to the overall story. It’s such a beautiful agony to read your words.
    Again, thank you.

    • Thanks! I’m sorry I made you cry though — I hate getting all stuffed up.

      • I feel like you gave me a precious gift. To be able to feel so deeply from your words, to be moved to cry, to be unable to put a protective separation between myself and the characters’ story – I appreciate that more than I can tell you.
But yeah, the crying part is ugly and messy, lol.

      • Thought I’d post this here as I’ve nothing to hide about it; sorry if asking for more pissed you off. Anytime I write something like that for a review, it’s meant as a compliment, not as me being whiny.

Apologies again if it came across in other, less polite ways…. *facepalm*

        • It doesn’t come off whiny – it comes off as incredibly ungrateful.

You need to STOP asking writers to update on your schedule or ask for MORE because you want without any sort of empathy for their circumstances. Last year you harassed me while I was being tested for CANCER for fuck’s sake.

  2. I can’t read anything. Overtime i click on a link I go to the page but it say its restricted!!!! Can anyone tell me how to fix it?!!!!

  3. You are a goddess M’Lady…an evil one at the moment but a goddess none the less! Hugs, Hxx

  4. Going to join live journal just to read all these.
    Thanks for posting them.

  5. Hi Keira,
I saw that you have links to read the new version of “Unspeakable Plot”, but was required to set up an Lj account before I could read them.

I set up a new account, but got “Access Denied”, when I tried to click on the links from your home page here.
I have clicked on “add friend”. Will you please accept my request?

    My user name: MyrddinsBard.

I hope that you feel better soon!
    Brian

  6. Sorr to bother you Kiera but I joined live journal and accessed the link to your site there but none of these links work for me from that site or this one.
Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

  7. Loved it:D And I can’t wait to read the finished version of ‘the unspeakable plot’ (or the others.. if you do that is…) and adding Draco was brilliant. ๐Ÿ˜€

  8. I love (and hate) EAD. I love the glimpses of unfinished work, little (and big!) pieces of work that is still being developed. I am not yet coherent enough to comment on them individually – but the quality of your storytelling unbetaed or only partially betaed or still being written is as top-notch as ever.

I adore the Unspeakable Plot Triad Edition – and I recall fondly the original – I think I read it three times before it was taken down. The commenter above was right when they said the addition of Draco gave additional weight to the story. I am looking forward to seeing where it goes, and how different it becomes from what I remember.

Thank you so much for sharing these – all of these. Its hard to say, but I think I liked the elements in Child of Magic the best – because while it has some similar themes to others, it explores the removal of the dark mark.

Like I said, not feeling particularly eloquent or articulate yet.

  9. Right, you are completely evil (and we love you for it). These are all awesome and I look forward to reading the finished versions as soon as you feel up to completing them. (I honestly do a little dance whenever I see that you’ve posted something new.) I was so engrossed in reading that I completely lost track of time and ended up only getting a couple hours of sleep before heading for work. ^_^;

  10. Will try to read later, right now livejournal itself is not working for me at all…..

  11. Thank you for sharing.
You’re the reason the dishwasher is full (of clean dishes, so there’s that), and the hamper is full.

    :-/

  12. I’ve always adored your stories – I’ve made two accounts (one on here and one on livejournal) now for the express purpose of reading them. I’ve got to say, I have no regrets. I love the way you address the consent issues inherit in love potions, the way you keep constants in each universe but vary them enough to be interesting, the magic and power that practically bleeds through the screen, everything about how you write is simply stunning. And the sex scenes are ridiculously hot.

So, as long as you find enjoyment in what you do, please keep writing ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. I adore you. Truly. I barely got any sleep and I went to work useless because I absolutely had to stay up and read your work.
Your work pulls me right in. I get emotionally invested in your stories and that’s wonderful. I smile. I laugh. I cry. Seriously. You’ve made me laugh so hard that I’ve cried and so sad that I’ve sobbed with it. It’s glorious to find something that makes you feel so strongly. Every time I get an alert that you’ve posted something new, I’m like a giddy little girl. I smile like I’m crazy and anyone around me sure looks at me that way.
Thank you for speaking so strongly to my soul.

P.S. – I really loved your hobbit snippets. Wish there had been some more this year. But don’t take that as a complaint. Just wishful thinking. You’re amazing and we are blessed by whatever you choose to grace us with. I’m just greedy and I’ll always want more. Also, I was so excited to see a little something new with that NCIS fic. You always start with a bang when you start something new. It’s great.

  14. You mean you made Unspeakable Plot more awesome then it already was, and people are complaining. Jeez some people.

  15. Loved ‘Child of Magic’ and ‘Courting Hermione Granger’ and hope to see more of them eventually. Started going back through previous posts and liked ‘Vengeful Measures’ and ‘Ginny is a Bad Wheezy’, and wished there was more of them as well.

  16. Livejournal finally cooperated, and let me log in, and I just finished reading all your EAD 2016 offerings…..all of them are wonderful, and you made The Unspeakable Plot even better, which I didn’t think was possible. Thank you for posting these.

  17. You meanie I didn’t get the notification of these EVIL stories until I was at work… had to wait until my break to start reading and have just finished them.
    These are all so good

Now I have to go and re-read all of the harry potter stories you have and probably everything else as you are my all time face author.

  18. I haven’t even read any of this yet, but I can tell you I let out a ridiculous squeeee at the statement that you made Unspeakable Plot a triad fic. Anyone who doesn’t like it can go away.

  19. Thanks so much for sharing all your great stories. I enjoyed them all, but Child of Magic was the one kept coming back to.
The premise was interesting, unique & I didn’t want it to end.
    Thanks again!

  20. Hey Keira, each time i try to join your LJ this pops up.

    McAfee WebAdvisor
    Warning: Trouble ahead
    Whoa!

Are you sure you want to go there?

http://www.livejournal.com/community/join.bml?comm… may be risky to visit.

    Why are you seeing this?

When we visited this site, we found it exhibited one or more risky behaviors.

Can you tell me if there might be something wrong with your site?

    • No it’s just a regular LJ community. It does have an adult content warning it so MAYBE that is tripping McAfee up but honestly I don’t know. It’s not self-hosted and is part of LJ so there are no viruses embedded or anything like that. LJ runs advertising for free memberships but that’s true across the board — community and personal page a like.

  21. Brilliant and Amazing as usual. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I read all of these sitting next to my husband. I then proceeded to sing your praises and said I loved you about a thousand times. He probably wishes he could take away my tablet.
Yes these are just evil teasers, but you gave us part of Unspeakable Plot back and that made me very happy.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

  22. Just finished reading the stories and loved them all, kinda wish was more of them to be honest cause now I have to go looking for something to read lol.

Anyways great job and look forward to more from you ^^

  23. I just found out about this site and I can’t put into words how happy I am to see more stories that you wrote. ๐Ÿ™‚

  24. Haven’t managed to read any of the fic yet, busy life, but just wanted to drop a line to say – wow! Holy moly, that’s a lot of fic! How awesome is this? You are amazing, are you sure you actually have a real life and a job too? Lol. Much appreciated. Kudos and thanks.

  25. Evil or not, you sure know how to tell a great story. Thank you! My favorite was the Unspeakable Plot.

  26. I’ve just finished reading Child of Destiny. I simply adore-“He turns to Snape, Black and Lupin. “Which one of you wants to murder Dumbledore?” They all three raised their hands and Dumbledore gaped at them in shock. Such a masterful image you created. I couldn’t help but snigger with appreciation. Thank you so much for sharing this little gem.

  27. Wow, Evil Author Day is such a treat! I read all of this year’s snippets. I especially loved Courting Hermione Granger, as it really hits some of my favorite Keira Marcos tropes. And it was also great to see The Unspeakable Plot return! I love this HP/HG/DM place you’re in right now.

…And then I went and worked my way through all your past Evil Author Day posts in chronological order. I was so excited for all your SGA and The Sentinel posts in particular. It was like a holiday, honestly. Even if you never finish most of those fics I had such a grand time reading them Thanks for posting!

  28. I loved all of it. Thank you for sharing with us.

  29. I’m such a greedy little beast! Why can’t it be Evil Author Day every day? (Why yes I had a phase as a kid where I wished it was Christmas every day…) – but honestly, I don’t even care when or even if you finish those stories – even unfinished they’re better than most finished fics that are out there (ok, I lied – I do care, ’cause they’re awesome. But so is everything else you write).

Your Hermione is wonderful, your Harry is basically the biggest turn on and I love the way you write Tony!

So thanks again for being evil!

  30. Thanks for sharing again this year. I do enjoy how a story with good bones holds up so nicely to major changes like the different relationship dynamics of a triad in The Unspeakable Plot. I enjoyed the original when it was available and it’s just neat to see the evolution of a story and how the process of writing and editing isn’t just grammar and the like–really major plot changes occur.

And I’ve never understood complaining about a writer freely sharing their work… That’s just rude. It’s like free street music. If you don’t like accordions, just avoid the free polka music–don’t request everyone switch to the kazoo. Go away. Far away where you don’t infect the rest of us. Tacky. So tacky. My grandmother would have a fit of the vapors and then beat that person about the head and ears. They were not Raised Right.

  31. Hmmm I’m a bit confused over what “Evil Author Day” is really because being given all these beautiful, brilliantly written stories all at once is in my opinion not evil in any way…. but IF you ever want to do again that would be awesome! Cheers Lottii

Ps thank you i really adored all of them!

  32. I can’t read any of LJ entries. It thorws this message:

    Access is denied.

You do not have access rights to view this entry.

I’ve created LJ account. What I am doing wrong?

  33. Loved, loved, loved all of the previews, but especially appreciated Courting Hermione Granger. Thank you so much for sharing =)

  34. Devoured all of these over the last day or so. Utterly brilliant. Thank you for sharing.

  35. Yessss. They’re all amazing. I love your writing, and all it’s incarnations. Thank you for sharing with us!!

  36. Exceptional talented Evil author. Thank you for such wonderful distractions from sleep.

  37. I really love the Ead

The courting Hermione and Child of Magic were the ones I love the most.

    Thanks for the gift

And I really hope you will have time this year to write more in any of them, because I love them all! Well any work of you in Harry Potter, the sentinel, Sherlock or Star trek I really love! (The other fandoms I really don’t know them) so any work of yours is really welcome, admired, apreciated and loved

  38. Hi,
I’m a member of LJ Community, but my access is denied… Any idea why? Anyone?
    Magda

    • You have to be a member of MY community as well as making an account on Live Journal. Click on the orange link at the top of the post.

      • You mean the “You can JOIN THE COMMUNITY HERE” link? When I click it I go to the LJ log in page with the options: LOG IN and CREATE AN ACCOUNT – should I create a new account?
I’m physically hurting here not being able to read “The Unspeakable Plot” (with a triad no less!!) and all the other, undoubtedly gorgeous fics… ๐Ÿ™‚

  39. Evil author day really is just…evil. I love it and hate it all at once!

Very much looking forward to more of all of these, and immensely grateful for the bits you’ve given us! Thank you!

  40. I had to read the comments before I could get an idea of what EAD was. I mean, I read WIPs all the time and don’t consider the author to be evil for sharing what the feel like when they’re good and ready.

All your HP stories were very enjoyable. I’ve never seen NCIS so I didn’t want to venture into another fandom only to get addicted to things the way only you can write them. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think Courting Hermione and The Unspeakable Plot were my favorite. Though I eagerly look forward to seeing how Snape and Sirius shake things up in Child of Magic. After much thought have come to the conclusion that while I adore the way you write Harry and Hermione(and sometimes Draco) together, it’s actually the way you write Harry that is my absolute favorite.

Very few people write him with such strength, sensitivity and sexual confidence all at once. Not to mention I love how his “give a fuck” is permanently out for repairs. LOL

Thank you for your generous postings. I too stayed up much too late because I just couldn’t make myself stop reading. I have the mot giddy reaction whenever I get notification that you’ve updated. ๐Ÿ™‚

  41. You are AWESOME!!! Thank you for sharing your stories with us!

  42. I can never read enough of you or Jilly James and when I finish with one I re-read another. You NCIS and Stargate Atlantis are my absolute favorites.

I look for every word I can find. Your novel was exciting as well.

I do hope you never decide to stop writing cause that would be a sad day in fanfiction.

  43. Nimue of the North

I just want to thank you so much for charing all this wonderful work with us. I can’t even say, what I like best right now – I’ll give it all a second read over the next few days, just for the sake of it.
I don’t usually read WIP because I’m too impatient and I read a lot (not too much – how could one ever read too much?!), so I prefer to wait for stories to be completed to read them in one go. But I regularly make exemptions for your work because A) I can’t resist you, B) it’s always worth it and C) Did I mention that I can’t resist you?
Anyway, even in it’s unfinished, not completely polished form your storytelling is such a pleasure and truly a treat that I can only end with words I started with: Thank you!

  44. Awesomeness all the way around. Lj didn’t like that I was creating a user via a tablet but I managed to get it do. Unspeakable plot is different then what I remember reading, that was the point though. Thank you for sharing with your minions.

  45. I’ve just reread your NCIS fic and commented, and it is my intention to reread all the others as well and comment on them individually, but I’m having endless trouble with internet access, so just in case, I want to say:

    THANK YOU!!

You are amazing – the number of excerpts and their length and, most importantly, the quality, are all absolutely outstanding. I enjoyed my first read of each one so much, and am completely in awe of your creative abilities. You have such an imagination, putting the characters in such very different situations and yet making them fit with both the new universe and the original character. I cannot find adequate words to express how much pleasure your writing, both for EAD 2016 and more generally, has given me, so thank you will have to do.:)

Go raibh mile, mile maith agat, agus go n-eiri an t-adh leat. (A thousand, thousand thanks, and good luck.)

    aibrean

  46. I’ve been reading your stories for this year’s EAD, and I’m both thankful and amazed that you never seem to run out of ideas, and even though the world almost always stays similar, each fic is always amazingly its own; I would never confuse one with the other, even if they have the same pairings, even if the characters behave in similar ways. I also tend to squeal when I see you post something new, and I keep hoping that you never run out of inspiration, and that you never get tired of sharing your art. Thank you.

  47. curiosityssatisfaction

Utterly thrilled to see The Unspeakable Plot made a triad. Since reading Darkly Loyal I’ve been hunting for long plotty good Harry/Hermione/Draco. Now off to read to see the brand new version. I read what was posted before on Rough Trade so I figure there will be significant differences and I can’t wait.

  48. Is it me or does ‘Courting Hermione’ have serious echoes of ‘The Magical Promise’? If you didn’t it that way, I apologise for bringing it up, I just couldn’t help noticing certain parallels between them….
