January 2017 Newsletter

I’ve been fucking around with a few ideas for the new year both for writing and for other stuff in regards to my site and Rough Trade. I announced the July challenge for Rough Trade which you can check out here. I’m looking forward to it. My mood is improving and I’ve been writing which is good. I’ve only picked out two projects to share on Evil Author Day but I’m still looking through my stuff to see what else might be viable.

I’m on the fence about what I’ll be doing for the Mulligan on Rough Trade for April.

I’m really enjoying The Big Short Variations on the Workshop as you might have noticed since I’ve posted my prompt responses on the site.

I keep going back and fucking with my plot for season 2 of Sentinels of Atlantis. I have many (many many) issues that often crop up in the production of a fic that I’m emotionally invested in. I flip back and forth on the points I want to focus on the second season. One day I want it this way then I want it another. It’s a very wishy-washy situation for me but I’ll figure it out ;-).

In my spare time I write fan fiction and lead a cult of cock worshippers on Facebook. It's not the usual kind of hobby for a "domestic engineer" in her 30's but we live in a modern world and I like fucking with people's expectations.

  1. Loved you new stories!Just had a pain in the arse week [ not in the fun way] and as ever you give the joy. Recently saw the new Magnificent Seven movie and half way through thought to myself must rec this to the Lady Marcos, these are her kind of lads. So if you haven’t seen hope I am giving a wee bit of the joy back in entertainment that you can share the defiling notions.
    with grateful love B.

  2. OMG I almost forgot about EAD!!! *** does happy butt wiggle;)

  3. I’m glad your mood is improving! You deserve to be in a good mood. 🙂

  4. Happy to hear your mood is improving. It’s always great to hear from you.

I’ve been spending a lot of time re-reading your stories recently and it occurred to me that aside from the just the joy of reading your stories, your villains put me in mind of some real world scary people and I’m wishing for similar satisfactory conclusions. I’d also like to have some real life politicians scanned for symbiotes please. Or is that unfair to the symbiotes?

Real life aside, thank you as always for everything you do and for sharing it with us.

  5. I just wanted to say I think the way you basically run free writing workshops on-line is really cool. I’m not a writer myself–or at least I haven’t been in years–but your website has inspired me to play around with it, in my head at least. One day a challenge will come along that matches one of the things I’m thinking about, and I might even sign up. For now, I just really enjoy both the ways in which things you post make me think about stories, and also watching all the writers on your sites develop. It’s one of my biggest fandom pleasures to visit here.
