Playlists
I love music. I listen to it pretty much every minute I’m awake. There is always a radio playing somewhere in my house. I have pretty eclectic taste as well so you’re going to find a lot of different stuff mixed together here. I’ve made a few play lists for my series work because people have expressed interest in it. I have often used song titles to name my work so I think people are pretty good at guessing what I was listening to when I wrote a certain story. These playlists may or may not work for you depending on what country you are in. I have ZERO control over that front. I should point out that some of this stuff is so cracky that I should be very ashamed of myself–yet somehow I’m not.

What a fabulous idea. Just listened to the WMHB playlist — a great way to think about how the songs connect to the stories. And some new artists for me to explore. Thank you!
But no “Ring of Fire” — maybe that story/novel will have its own playlist? And whose version of the song will you use? (This is where I out myself as an Adam Lambert fan.
Plus, I totally need to listen to some Johnny Cash today. It’s that kind of day.

Ring of Fire would definitely have it’s own playlist- it’s not nearly as romantic or soft as the rest of that series which is why I decided to cut WMHB off there and start do the final part of the series as a Novel.

These are great! Scads of awesome songs – queen/bowie (which I still remember vanilla ice trying to play off stealing their riff…what a dummy – like nobody would notice…), coldplay, mr. groban, boy george, phil collins (which I’ve got stuck in my head now)…heck I could go on all day! thanks for taking the time to post this (amidst all the awesome writing you post!)
P.S. – Congratulations on your 1,000,000th word! (You deserve a vacation filled with lovely cabana boys and beach scenery!)

Tangled Destinies has a great play list, especially Leona Lewis.
Whenever I read(or re-read) the series, the song that always comes my mind is Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You by Lauryn Hill. An AWESOME song.

I’ve been enjoying your stories for a while now. Especially “Ties That Bind”. But I really love your play lists. The music goes so well with the stories. I listen to one of the songs and I can see in my mind what happens in your stories (hope that was explained understandable). Really enjoy the music. Thumbs up

Have you ever heard of the band called Hurts? I recently started listening to them, and their song “Silver Lining” brings to mind Tangled Destinies for me. Here’s a link if you want to check it out:
