Stories

Episode 1: A Timely Return

Harry Potter returns to Arda after years on Earth fighting a war that never felt like his own, only to find that his hobbit father has agreed to take on a quest to steal from a bloody dragon. To say he’s displeased is an understatement.

Episode 2: The Matters of Destiny

The company moves toward Erebor, and Hermione adjusts to Arda better than Harry expected.

Episode 3: At the Foot of the Mountain

They reach Erebor months before he’d thought possible, and Thorin starts to think about the future of his people and what it will mean to be King Under the Mountain. Harry starts to come to terms with the actions he took on Earth.

EAD Version VS the Series

Many of you read Small Magic when it was a WIP novel that I featured on Evil Author Day. It was a first very rough draft so the differences between what you read there and what you will eventually see here could be very different. Scenes that you enjoyed may disappear completely, the plot may develop in ways that you don’t like or didn’t expect.

This also means that the dverger in this verse are not quite like the ones I’ve written in such works as The Arda Exodus. The circumstances had to be different with them in order to make Ragnok’s actions make sense with his character as I see them.

In order to enjoy this version of Small Magic for what it is, it would be good if you let go of any expectations you developed from the original version or from my other HP works in general.
