Woohoo! Absolutely looking forward to the new series…it sounds so exciting!
I’m a total fan of everything you write so I know it will not disappoint (like you ever could!).
Out of curiosity sake…I see that Dr. J (my fav SG1 character) and Ms. Mal Doran are pictured right below everyone’s favorite couple…does that mean they will have some prominent ‘screen’ time as well in this series?

Not so much in the first book though Daniel has a pivotal role in the end of it. In book 2 things will be a little more focused on individual plot lines. The first book had a lot of world building and plot arc building in it. You get a little bit of everything.

Noticed that John’s family (your incarnation of them) aren’t listed on the cast page, but I think (I may be misremembering) that you’ve said elsewhere that they will be somewhere in here as well (or at least mentioned). I do hope we get to see them, as they are pretty much my favorite OC’s ever (that said, I love all your OC’s (and parenthetical expressions, apparently)) and all the personalities you give to the characters that we see in the show but don’t know much about. And super excited to see Vala and Daniel, as they are two of my favorite SG characters ever (after John, Rodney and Jack).

A story with avatars and McShep????? WOW, can´t wait to read it. Am I seeing it right, that you´ve paired Lorne with Chris? (Yippie yeah, joining the dance of the others). And double-yeah for casting the cute Josh for the role of Bates brother (?, son would be weird).
Just one small typo: Jared´s last name is Padalecki (with an e), maybe you´d like to change it….which gives me one question…where is our beloved Matt Sheppard, his “brother”? Hope they will arrive in book 2 when Atlantis finally reconnects with Earth.

As to the other– I’m not answering any questions regarding future character appearances or plot elements because I don’t want to risk spoiling it for some people who want to be surprised.
I will say that Book 2 will be a story exclusively about Pegasus which will make sense after you’ve read book 1.

Well, it’s a minor plot point in that the ranks are subject to change drastically in the first book so I didn’t put any down. I’ll update the cast page when I’m ready to post Book 2.

I figured as much. I did note after posting that it was not only John, but all of the women and men of the Atlantis Expedition who’ve no military rank, while O’Neil and Carter do… I inferred this might be a spoiler type plot device that would be revealed upon reading, nothing major, just a bone to chew on. Hence, intrigue.
– I’m really just a 1/4 ass’d spoiler hound so I didn’t think the post needed to be edited because it did convey my main point: Keenness!
Now, as much as I do enjoy your stories – honestly, if you updated anymore frequently I’d probably never get anything done
Speaking of update frequency, I’m thrilled when I can manage one or three stories in a timely manner, never mind how long it takes to get a screenplay done. How you manage to get out updates for as many stories as you juggle, as often as you do is quite honestly applaud-able.

Dear Gods Keira, this is amazing! Wow! I love the world building, I love Atlantis (both Ally and Theseus)!
And God do I ever HATE Landry! I really hope Jack and Samantha do horrible things to him – or that someone makes him pay.
You totally made my day posting this. I love that the city loves Chase because he’s a decendant of her mother’s brother. I can’t wait to see more of Atlantis’ children.
Oh, and poor Teyla. To be so disrespected and pushed aside by her own people is terrible. I’m so glad Jinto decided to stay with her.
And Lorne is adorable! Really, he is made of awesome and the best 2IC ever.
Also, I love Bates in this. He is a badass protecting the city.

You never cease to amaze me – I’ve only read two chapters, and your creativity is amazing. And the cast list alone has me intrigued as to where this storyline will take us. Amazing new series. I had just finished rereading the “What Might Have Been” series and was excited to see more new SGA fic. I love the concept of Theseus, Ally and their children. Your Miko had a backbone and an amusingly sharp tongue at times. It was sad that rather than learn reality, the Athosians chose to cling to their false ‘religion’ and leave the safe harbor Atlantis could have provided.
I can’t wait to see if Jack, Sam, Cameron, and other favorites still back on Earth will get to eventually join them (Thor could always bring them). I also wonder if Ronon will run across the Lanteans soon too.
What’s the rough ETA for your next posting, and for which series? (I’m torn between this and WMHB.)

This fic is absolutely brilliant. I read it start to finish in one go as I could not stop reading it. I love the idea of an atlantis cut off from everyone, one in which they are forging their own society. I also love the sentinent Atlantis and the idea of a truly living ship, ive seen a few fics that had atlantis have some form of intelligence but not really alive as such and i love how you have done this. I love this whole fic and really hope there is more to come. Is there a sequal to this magnificent story. I hope to see more from you soon so keep up the great work.

I adore your Evan and his loyalty, think there should have been more of him in the series.
-> Did you know he plays a role in the Sentinel serie as Quinn, the bank robber in “True crime”. Just watched it (because of your Awakening-story, would love a sequel and the awards were so well-deserved) and thought: Hey, I know this guy! So cute and hasn´t changed much in 10 years^-^
Printed it out before the vacation but got seasick, so I just read it at home in the last few days. Can´t wait till March/April, I want more… and I hope they got lost of Landry, he´s a pain in the ass and a soldier killer (at least in your story).

Well have reread it again and still love it but you WIP page says the next part won’t be until next year.
Had one reaction the second time through I’ve not mentioned before, Ally has contact with Earth’s Electronic Internet through her Outpost and all the communication satelites she can access, she just took millions from Landry and she has a book list from Miko and to buy digital versions and other types of downloads all she would need is a working credit card for that money she has tucked aways somewhere have you thought of all the free email accounts out there and other digital services she could easily get access to that way not to mention she probably has the ability to hack the satelite TV stations for new stuff not on the net yet for entertainment, they have pretty much corrupted Alley and Theseus by the sound of it just look at he way Ally is enjoying dress up, the Ancients were boring by comparison Earth’s media is very visual when you think about it and the range, everything from work related, casual to high fashion and she not only has her own image to dress but she is probably looking forward to making some of the clothing she is seeing for her new people so colourful and varied and as Miko is having a baby can you imagine her going through baby catalogues on line working out just what to make for her.

Yes there was actually a scene that I cut out of the fic where she was threatening to not download the next season of Dr. Who when Rodney got snarky with her but she doesn’t need the money. Nothing online is safe from her.

I have fallen in love with your writing. It’s so beautiful – i’ve read nearly all your fics, but i’ve just finished book 1 of the Lantean Legacy and i’m nearly in tears by the sheer emotion in it. I can feel what they’re feeling, and i want to join in! I love my home and my country, but i think if i were in their position i would do the same. The same three words were circling in my head the whole time i was reading – a realistic utopia. It’s a utopia because Theseus ensures that there is no bigotry or crime or anything, but they are still in a precarious position re: the wraith, etc. I literally cannot wait for the sequel to this and all your other fics – my shift to SGA fandom is entirely down to you and your version ofthe BDSM verse, so thank you!! I owe you!!

I never want to rush a writer, if they feel pressured it can stop the muses or at best it can produce a lesser quality story, so I am (mostly) paitently waiting for the two big novels and any smaller stories or updates. I was wondering though if there was any idea on the word counts for the novels? Thank you for the wonderful stories, I re-read them rediculusly often. WW.

Yeah-I’d say somewhere between 65,000 and 75,000 words each. That’s my target for them but I’m currently broken (foot) and I’m miserable so I’m not writing.

Actually the first Elizabeth Weir was not played by Torri Higginson and I chose not to use her casting because I don’t like the actress at all and if I used her– she’d be evil!Weir. I used the original actress who played the part on SG1.

God. Wow, brilliant.
It was engulfing, just like your other stories. I swear, I just started reading and it swallowed me whole, the ending gave me chills (the really really good chills)
Please say there will be another boook soon? I think I’ll go into withdrawl if there isn’t.
On that note, if you could just get, like, super inspired and write a lot in the future, that would be agreeable aswell ;P
Anyways, really well done, if you ever get the urge to publish a book, don’t hesitate to put it out there.

Yes. I actually have two future books mostly written. I’m stuck on book 2 but I might rework my plan a little on that front since I’m genuinely stuck.
