Years after the second blood war, Harry Potter finds himself on the cusp of making a terrible mistake because of loneliness and a bone-deep desire for a family. Thankfully, Magic has something to say about that and it’s revealed that he has a fated soulmate.

Draco Malfoy has lived with the knowledge that Harry Potter is his soulmate for years unwilling to let him go, but convinced that Harry would want nothing to do with him. His magical circumstances after the war are wretched and he’d wish such a circumstance on no one, much less his own soulmate.

  1. I’m so excited about this series. I think it’s one of the best you’ve written, although your RT fic set me off on a Harry/Draco search!

Thank you for sharing it with us.

    Series!?!?! Eeeeeeee!

I noticed the time travel tag on rough trade and was excited about it but by the end of Heart’s Desire I was really quite content with their happiness in coming together despite the tragedy of Draco’s magical circumstances. But a series?!!!! Eeeeee! And I don’t think I’ve seen you write the first wizarding war. That promises to be lots of fun! I’m excited for the next bunch of months <3

  3. So, no plot guesses, no plot suggestions or speculations – I can live with that. But I have to admit, your time travel tag threw me quite a bit.

And honestly, looking forward to a series of yours is doing a lot to raise my mood concerning the upcoming months.
Write if you can and want and get in the mood and I’ll await every single word most eagerly.

  4. I love that Harry expresses the depth of his feelings for Hermione. There is something warm and cozy to hear how much they love one another, how much he loves her, without their being in a heterosexual relationship. It’s beautiful, thank you.

  5. Gay Hermonie is now my favorite thing.. I didn’t even know how much I needed it until I read your fic.

  6. Ran across this today so unexpectedly, and now that I’ve sat down and read it all in one go, I go to sleep fully content. At ::checks watch:: 3:13 in the morning.

It was lovely, thank you for sharing!

  7. So I am sure it is me but is this story not up do to being in challenge? Cause I cannot find it and I want to read it. So anyone please help me.

  8. I love the snark!!! I cackled more than once.

  9. I adore this…

  10. I squealed like a little kid about Time Travel. First Wizarding War! Saving Draco and killing Voldemort in ever more creative and terrible ways! It doesn’t matter, any time travel is good for me. It is my favorite trope.

  11. You are one of the most talented writers I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Your world building is amazing, I absolutely adore the Dverger aspect and your method of ritual magic really calls to my pagan soul. I must check your website two or three times a week at the least for new content. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

  12. Very exciting! Have been enjoying this a lot.

  13. There is nothing like reading your fics to get out of a reading slump! Thx
