Site Features – Members Only

Reading Time: 1 MinutesHey there, Just a quick note about the Skysa Bar and what is now available on it. Members will take note that the Instant Messaging feature has been disabled. This was causing problems with some people’s bars so I’ve removed it. Hopefully it will clear up some of the issues with loading and using the chatroom. I didn’t find a viable instant messaging system that would work well with the Skysa Bar (our chat bar at the bottom) so I installed a Private messaging system instead. You’ll receive an email if you have a private message pending and there is also a link on the Skysa Bar: The section labeled Minion Headquarters contains the chatroom, translation options, and a Print Friendly button for posts that will also create PDFs for you. Tangled Destinies: Covet

Reading Time: 57 MinutesTitle: Covet Author: Keira Marcos Betas: Ladyholder & Chris King Series: Tangled Destinies Series Order: 10 Fandom: Star Trek Pairings: Kirk/Spock, Sarek/Amanda Grayson, Pike/McCoy Genre: Romance, Angst Rating: R Warnings: Language, explicit sexual contact, an author whose respect for canon is both casual and transitory. Go with it. It won’t hurt you. Summary: Jim faces his past and someone he thought he’d already lost. * * * * Most of the school knew they were essentially married. There had been a congrats on your weird alien nuptials party over the summer that they had attended, mostly out of peer pressure and political obligations. Spock trusted that Jim was right about how the friendly relationships they created in the present would impact them in the future. The new school year had proven to be slightly more stressful as they no longer shared the bulk of their classes. Jim had rearranged most of his academic plans so they could finish at the same time and start their college educations together. That meant he hadn’t had room for several of the electives that they’d both taken the year before out of interest rather than need. They still shared an engineering class and a class on intergalactic politics that Spock’s father had been insistent that they take. The material was dry and not particularly interesting but they both took the class seriously, especially when they’d realized Sarek would be discussing their various assignments with them on a near weekly basis. That Old Black Magic-3/3

Reading Time: 116 MinutesPrologue-Chapter Four Chapter Five-Chapter Nine * * * * Chapter Ten July 29, 1996 “As their mother, I believe I have a right to know what kind of ritual is going to be taking place, Arthur.” Harry shared a pointed look with Draco and focused on his oatmeal. The last thing he wanted was to have that particular conversation with Mrs. Weasley. He’d been content to let her husband handle it, except the man was obviously suffering under the strain of the secrecy charms of the conclave. He’d broken out in a sweat already. “Enough,” Draco snapped and Harry blinked in surprise. “Mrs. Weasley, is it your intention to give your husband a heart attack?” He demanded. He summoned a glass from the cabinet and filled it with water, which he pressed on the elder Weasley. “He is not allowed to discuss the business of our conclave with you or anyone else outside of it.” Molly blinked in surprise. “But, I’m their mother and Ron is underage.” “Your husband will be there and I believe we can all agree that he would not allow your children to participate in a ritual that would damage them emotionally or physically,” Draco returned evenly. “This ritual is very important and none of us need the additional stress you’re causing.” He refilled Arthur’s glass with a murmured charm. “It isn’t as if we’re going to sacrifice a unicorn and dance naked under a blood moon while we chant the Lord’s Prayer…

That Old Black Magic – 2/3

Reading Time: 218 MinutesGo back to the Prologue – Chapter Four * * * * Chapter Five July 10, 1996 Draco Malfoy was in the kitchen with Harry—they were moving around each other as if they had been doing it for years. It was the first time Molly had seen them since Malfoy’s arrival. They’d stayed on the fourth floor behind the family wards for almost two full days; having Dobby or Kreacher bring their meals no matter how often she’d complained about it. Molly stared at them for a long time, watching them tease each other gently and every time they touched a little spark of gold brushed over the skin that had met no matter how briefly. It was enlightening to say the least. There hadn’t been any gold light the first night that she could remember when they greeted each other upon Malfoy’s arrival. Harry turned and snagged Malfoy’s waist as he slid around him. He pulled him close and pressed a warm affectionate kiss on Draco’s mouth. The blond laughed and hooked his fingers in the belt loops of Harry’s jeans. “You taste good,” Harry murmured. “I’ve been sneaking some of the coffee you had Dobby buy.” “Cinnamon is your favorite,” Harry responded. “I figured you might like a little taste of home in this strange, strange world we find ourselves in.” He leaned in and kissed him again. Molly’s breath caught as a bright rush of gold light flashed over both young men. They jerked…

Summary: Head Auror Harry Potter and his magical partner, Lord Draco Malfoy, are cast back in time against their will and at the whim of fate to right the injustices done during the second blood war. Faced with a nightmare filled future, a looming war, and the forced to deal with people long dead to them–they must navigate the past, protect the future, and learn to forgive before it’s too late. Art by FanArts Series * * * * – Prologue July 12, 2010 “Lord Potter, it is high time you woke and greeted this fine day we are having.” Lips trailed along the curve of his ear and a warm, familiar body pressed close to him. “I protest the description fine,” Harry muttered. He caught his lover’s hand and curled their fingers together around his morning erection. “But you could help me change my mind.” Draco Malfoy hummed. “It is a beautiful sunny Monday morning—perfect for traipsing about the country seeking naughty wizards who do bad things.” He ran his thumb over the head of Harry’s cock and pressed a kiss…

Ties That Bind: Time After Time

Reading Time: 89 MinutesTitle: Time After Time Author: Keira Marcos Beta: Ladyholder Series: Ties That Bind Series Order: 13 Fandom: SGA Pairings: McKay/Sheppard, OC/OC, Lorne/OC, Teldy/Porter Rating: NC-17 Word Count: 22,200 Warnings: BDSM, Violence, high off-world body count of mostly unnamed aliens, fucked up politics, asshats of many nationalities, mild angst, and an author who is completely amazed by herself and tolerates no bullshit from trolls. Author’s Notes: SEE THE SERIES PAGE FOR FULL AUTHOR NOTES. I RECOMMEND YOU READ THEM! Summary: A single day can change everything. Notes: For the purposes of this series, Atlantis has a 25 hour day and all members of the expedition adhere to this time format on world and off. On the military clock, 0000 Hours equals 12:00AM and 1200 Hours equals 12:00pm. This means the day on Atlantis starts at 0000 Hours and ends at 2500 Hours. While the people on Earth don’t adhere to that schedule, I’ve labeled scenes on Earth and on the Daedalus on that schedule to keep things orderly and also that you, the reader, don’t lose track of where I am in this very long day.   * * * * 0000 Hours—Atlantis Chase Harris shivered and arched into the bite of Ethan Marsh’s belt. His back was hot with welts and slick with sweat, while his cock was straining painfully against the restriction of his boxers and BDUs. He took two more blows in near silence before groaning, ragged and breathless. Ethan laughed, low and a little…

Tangled Destinies: Forsaken

Reading Time: 109 MinutesTitle: Forsaken Author: Keira Marcos Betas: Ladyholder & Chris King Series: Tangled Destinies Series Order: 9 Fandom: Star Trek Pairings: Kirk/Spock, Sarek/Amanda Grayson, Pike/McCoy, OC/OC Genre: Romance, Angst Rating: R Warnings: Language, explicit sexual contact, an author whose respect for canon is both casual and transitory. Go with it. It won’t hurt you. Summary: Sarek takes his family back to Vulcan for the formal adoption of T’Mara. * * * * Jim loved space. Maybe it was because he hadn’t been born on a planet or maybe it was the adventure of it all. He really couldn’t be sure. He was sitting in a small observation deck on the Sh’Vor, a Vulcan Suurok class starship that had once been used for exploration and now appeared to exist solely for the transport of T’Pau. The entire crew’s official job was to take her wherever she wanted to go as far as Jim could tell. In the lull of travel, the Sh’Vor was one big science experiment. The research that came from the vessel on the course of those trips made scientists all over the Federation stupid with jealousy. T’Pau answered to no one and therefore traveled where ever she liked to see whatever was interesting. “You are well, James Kirk?” Jim turned and found the Matriarch of his clan staring at him pointedly. He immediately rolled to his feet, embarrassed to be caught sprawling in the window seat of the observation lounge. He raised his hand in salute,…

Sentinels of Atlantis: Breaking Point

Reading Time: 5 MinutesTitle: Breaking Point Author: Keira Marcos Fandom: Stargate: Atlantis Series: Sentinel of Atlantis Series Order: Missing Scene from The Aftermath Pairing: Weir/Wallace Summary: Elizabeth Weir awakens as a Sentinel in a moment of crisis. * * * * The storm hadn’t been a surprise. The Sentinels had felt it for weeks—building in the atmosphere. Atlantis had readily supplied weather data when Radek asked, it was no question how she catered to him. They’d prepared for it in every way they could. Evacuating the Athosians to the city and launching the shield using the generators from Sateda had been risky so most of the civilians and the Athosians had went through the gate to an allied planet. At least, John had considered the people an ally. The Athosians had traded with them for generations. Cameron and Vala were in a Jumper above the planet—monitoring the progress of the storm and gathering as much data as they could on what the geeks had labeled a “super hurricane”. Lorne had taken command of everyone off world—taking all of the civilians that weren’t remotely useful with him and the majority of the Marines to protect them. This was supposed to be a fucking cake walk. It had been a cake walk until he’d heard the report of weapons fire and lost the heartbeats of three of the Marines who had been on guard duty in the gateroom. John pulled his Guide close and turned so he was between them in whatever…

SOPA

Reading Time: 2 MinutesMany of you might think that SOPA won’t have any impact on you — you aren’t a software pirate, after all. You don’t download illegal music. You don’t download or sell illegal copies of movies or books. It’s not a problem, right? WRONG. The problem isn’t that SOPA will hamper our “funtimes” on Youtube (well it would) or that it would make legitimate website owners freak out (it so would) it’s that the bill wasn’t written by people who actually understand how the Internet works and more importantly — it wasn’t written by someone who respects the Freedom of Speech. Intellectual Property Rights are for the INDIVIDUAL — not companies.  They were put into law to protect the rights of writers, artists, and musicians and to give them the MONEY they needed to live so that they could create more work. It was never designed to limit or destroy free thinking, innovation, or the creation of transformative works (like fan fiction). I don’t believe corporations should be have this kind of power in our country. There is a link on my Facebook wall right now that could shut down all of Facebook if this law passed. In fact, there are several since I adore YouTube (which would not survive SOPA). Twitter might last 24 hours before someone posted a link to content they shouldn’t and then bam– they lose their account OR the government comes in and tells Twitter they are toast. OR they could try — because SOPA has no…

McKay is fresh out of a relationship and John isn’t interested in ruining their friendship with a rebound thing. Rodney waited for years for John Sheppard to look at him. There had been a time when he would have given anything for his best friend to turn to him and return the foolish, inappropriate love he himself harbored. He thinks he’s moved on but what happens when he turns to John and sees everything he’d ever wanted just waiting for him?

Tangled Destinies: Havoc

Reading Time: 39 MinutesTitle: Havoc Author: Keira Marcos Beta: Ladyholder Pairings: Kirk/Spock, Pike/McCoy, Sarek/Amanda Grayson Series: Tangled Destinies Series Order: 8 Fandom: Star Trek XI (Reboot ‘Verse) Genre: Alternate Universe, romance Word Count: 9,700 Rating: PG-13 Summary: A traumatic and life altering event changes everything for Spock’s family. * * * * No one spared them a glance as Sarek and Christopher Pike moved through the maze of hallways and turbolifts that made up Starfleet Medical. Pike was out of uniform and the Vulcan Ambassador was dressed as casually any one could ever have the right to expect—his outer robe was quite plain and somewhat thin but still provided him a much-needed buffer against the cooler temperatures Humans needed to maintain optimal levels of performance. They were both common place in the facility, especially on Friday evenings when they were often forced to bodily retrieve Leonard McCoy from his office and escort him across town to sit down at Amanda Grayson’s table like a civilized person. Sarek found the ritual of it all soothing in its normalcy. Leonard would complain quite loudly while he gathered himself and closed his office for the day and then they would take the car Starfleet kept on hand for the Commodore across the city to Sarek’s residence where Amanda waited. Pike had jokingly referred to her as the woman in his life and Sarek supposed it was true. Amanda apparently had no problems asserting her authority over all of them at any given time. He…

Ties That Bind: Fever Pitch

Reading Time: 85 Minutes Title: Fever Pitch Author: Keira Marcos Art Work: FanArtSeries (coming soon!) Betas: Ladyholder & Chris King Series: Ties That Bind Series Order: 12 Word Count: 21,374 Fandom: SGA Pairing: McKay/Sheppard (many additional pairings) Rating: NC-17 Author’s Note: Original characters from “Time Heals by CJ aka WritinginCT” are briefly mentioned in this fic. Warnings: BDSM, blood play, violence, explicit sex, sexual exhibition, voyeurism, and adult language. This novella in the series contains what some may consider extreme S&M. Don’t bitch at me if it freaks you out. I warned you. SEE THE SERIES PAGE FOR FULL AUTHOR NOTES. I RECOMMEND YOU READ THEM! Summary: John celebrates his birthday and faces his first exhibition on the city of the Ancients. * * * * “It’s your birthday, John.” John quirked an eyebrow at Rodney as he fastened his watch and finished threading his belt through his pants. “I know but I do have quite a bit of work this morning. I still plan to take the afternoon and evening off so I expect you to be done by lunch time as well unless something completely horrible happens.” “As it often does,” Rodney muttered and then sighed as he pulled on a t-shirt. “I saw that you put on us on the exhibition schedule.” John nodded. “I forgot to mention it last night. I think it’s important to assert…” “Your ownership of me,” Rodney murmured and then grinned when John flushed. “Seriously?” “Shut up,” John said with a small…

The Choice

Reading Time: 46 MinutesTitle: The Choice Author: Keira Marcos Beta:  Ladyholder Fandom: Sentinel/Stargate Fusion Series: Sentinels of Atlantis Series Order: 19 Pairing: OC/OC (Matthew Sheppard/Chase Harris), Jack O’Neill/Patrick Sheppard Rating: NC-17 Word Count: 11,400 Warnings: graphic language and SEX Summary: Chase Harris has his first off-planet mission and suffers for it. Meanwhile, Matthew Sheppard has to make a choice about his status at the SGC and in the Navy. Jack O’Neill realizes something important about Charlie and goes to visit his ex-wife. * * * * The water was unbearable but not being clean was even more of an issue. Chase curled his fists against the wall and took the punishing spray of lukewarm water while his body shivered with pain. He swallowed a groan and took a deep breath as his heartrate elevated and adrenalin spiked as his senses processed the stinging pain sweeping over his skin. The mission hadn’t been simple but it certainly hadn’t been the kind of clusterfuck of epic proportions he’d been warned about before he ever stepped through the gate. The planet hadn’t been that far off Earth-norm but it didn’t take much to utterly fuck up a Sentinel. He took a deep breath, pulling in the damp air that did nothing to sooth the burning deep in his chest. Chase had never regretting bonding with Wil more—and he’d had room for a lot of regrets. They hadn’t been a good fit as Wil had been only a level two Guide and Chase had…

The Spirit

Reading Time: 39 MinutesTitle:  The Spirit Author: Keira Marcos Beta(s): Ladyholder and Chris King Fandom: Sentinel/Stargate Fusion Pairing: Mckay/Sheppard, etc (see series page) Series: Sentinels of Atlantis Series Order: 18 Word Count: 9,685 Rating: R (for violence) Warnings: Violence, adult language Summary: John takes the Sentinels off-world for training and Rodney explores the depth of his bond with his Sentinel when they are forced to stay apart. On Earth, Jack and Andy meet up with something entirely unexpected on the streets of Colorado Springs. * * * * Rodney was uncomfortable behind the desk he and John were supposed to share in the office above the gateroom. The fact was that he fully expected John to take care of much of what was their dual role because it fell in line with his duties as the military leader. But, John and the rest of the Sentinels from Earth were off-world with Ronon and Tyre doing some warrior-Sentinel bonding thing to do with his being their Alpha that he really didn’t understand and none of them had been able to offer a satisfying explanation. Even Radek and Elizabeth had gone through the gate—leaving all the Guides behind. It was disconcerting to say the least. Vala and Jennifer were sitting on the stairs in front of the gate glaring at it like it was the very root of evil. Graham and David were sitting on the command deck despite the fact that neither one of them had to damn thing to do…

Summary:  John finds himself settling deeper into his relationship with McKay while adjusting to the arrival of several new people on the city. * * * * “I only have one rule in my office.” Thomas Grant waited until Sheppard focused on him. “There is no rank in this room, John.” John nodded. “Agreed.” He ran his hand over his head and sighed. “I’m going to ask McKay to attend a weekly private session with you regarding his relationship with Sam Carter. He’ll tell you things that will probably make you so fucking furious you can’t breathe. Considering your familial relationship with Gerard and your past with McKay, I need to know that you can handle the situation professionally.” “It’s one of the reasons you requested me, right?” Thomas questioned. “Because I have history with Rodney.” “Yes. He trusts and respects you. He has fond memories of your relationship but doesn’t appear to have any interest in renewing a private relationship with you. On the home front, Patrick Sheppard makes a mistake that will nearly cost him everything he’s worked so hard to regain.   * * * * Jack O’Neill used an ink pen to tap the report on his desk. John Sheppard had waged a very private war against the Trust and won. Jack wasn’t inclined to quibble about being kept in the dark considering just how dark the situation had looked only two months ago for his family and especially his children. “You think I give him too much leeway.” “We’ve always been of the same mind on these things, Jack.” Jack nodded. “Any Trust activity go your way this time?”…
