March 2017 Newsletter

I’m pleased to announce that FALL FOR YOU is available in print on demand. It’s available for purchase in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and Japan. (Please note that it is being sold in English on all of these sites). I don’t know if it’ll available on other Amazon sites in the future so please don’t ask. It is being printed and distributed by Amazon exclusively, and those are the links I was given when I asked.

February 2017 Newsletter

I’m plugging right along on the writing front. The weather sucks. I’m tired of experiencing all of the seasons in a four-day cycle. I’ve been fiddling with a Girl McKay which you might have noticed and expanded my short into a story/episode. I’ve plotted about 10 of them and I’m pretty amused with the whole thing. I’ve already almost finished the second episode and it’ll probably go into beta next week sometime.

January 2017 Newsletter

I’ve been fucking around with a few ideas for the new year both for writing and for other stuff in regards to my site and Rough Trade. I announced the July challenge for Rough Trade which you can check out here. I’m looking forward to it. My mood is improving and I’ve been writing which is good. I’ve only picked out two projects to share on Evil Author Day but I’m still looking through my stuff to see what else might be viable.

December 2016 Newsletter

I really don’t have much to say since I’m all blah and shit. There were no radio shows in November because of National Novel Writing Month. I did complete 50k during the month but I still feel like I failed the challenge since it is a disjointed mess that I can’t even open at present because it is so frustrating.

November 2016 Newsletter

Sometimes I hate my brain because it never stops. Just about half way through my NANO story, I came to realize that my structure is deeply flawed. This comes from a creator perspective because I’m not getting there in the writing and by “there” I mean I’m not seeing the story develop the way I wanted it to develop. The premise is a lot bigger in my head than what I’ve been able to put down in real, actual words.

October 2016 Newsletter

You might have noticed a bunch of shorts being posted to my site. They’re my responses to short prompts we are hosting on RT. They’re literally writing exercises for me and I’m sharing them here because I figured you might want to read them. They are not “ideas or prompts” that you can take and expand on. I’m serious. Don’t take my work and expand it — that is really fucking rude to be both do and to do suggest.

August 2016 Newsletter

Reading Time: 1 MinutesI’m dog sick and relatively moody beyond all comprehension. Rough Trade went very well and the erase date is October 1, 2016 so please make sure to read all you want before that point. And remember that harassing authors about their work on RT is very rude and super unappreciated. I remain singularly uninspired by all of my ideas but I think it’s just because I’m sick. I ran a fever all of yesterday and I’ve been running one today as well. Summer colds suck so much ass. I don’t even feel like reading which is ridiculous because I can’t remember the last time I felt that way. Facebook is boring too (no offense to my friends there). I don’t even feel like working on my RT drafts from July. It’s just an insane how lazy I feel right now. Anyways, I don’t have much to talk about regarding my projects since I’ve done jackshit since RT. Check out my radio shows: July Radio Shows Anything Goes Bitch Craft: Changes & Consequences Bitch Craft: Character Motivations and Consequences Plot Drift: Rachel Edwards is killed… (Hawaii 5-O) Bitch Craft: Reshaping Canon Events & Ramifications Born This Way -KM

July 2016 Newsletter

Reading Time: 2 MinutesHi All, I finished my read through on Sentinels of Atlantis and made my final tweaks to the overall plot arc for season 2. I’ve got a few dangling pairings and some world building to do on the political front for Earth but I’m pretty happy with my finalized plans which I’d honestly hoped to have done by the first of May (that obviously didn’t work out). I finished the rough draft of the story I outlined in my May 8, 2016 podcast (Plot Drift: What if James Potter left Britain with his family?) and it sort of … well. Let’s just say that what came out of it was inspired but that plot drift and leave it at that. The first draft is around 51k but I expect to increase by at least 25% during the second draft stage and that’s before it enters beta. Since we’re in challenge now and we’ll be in challenge again in November, I don’t expect to put this particular story (currently untitled) into beta until the very end of the year. Well, unless I break something. That being said I have no intention of posting this particular book until the other two books in the trilogy are in the rough draft stage. There are a lot of moving parts and keeping my plot tight for the whole project means nothing gets published until everything is written. We’re a couple of days past the half-way point for Rough Trade, and I’ve…

June 2016 Newsletter

Reading Time: 1 MinutesI wanted to drop a note about my podcast and give sincere thanks to those of you who listen to the show either live or from the archive later. The traffic adds up and allows the show to pay for itself in advertising dollars. Any other funds get cycled back into the site for hosting and plug-ins which can add up when it comes to paid features and the like (boring stuff). Anyways, thanks for listening and please keep checking out my special brand of crazy. I did a little beta work for Jilly’s NCIS Big Bang entitled “Memories“. You should check it out. May 2016 Newsletter

Reading Time: 2 MinutesThings I find irritating: demands, expectations, assumptions, and entitlement. I saw a post on Facebook the other day with an anti-Drumpf slogan: Make America Kind Again. I suppose many people see me as a bitch and that’s fine–I come from a long, distinguished line of bitches but I don’t think I’m cruel. Maybe some would disagree but there also the same people who think they have the right to boss me around. Let me be frank, I don’t even let the man who pays my bills tell me what to do. Anyways, it’s April and our next Rough Trade challenge is in July. And signup will open on June 1 so you have plenty of time to think about participating, whine about the theme, and the challenge requirements in public like I’m going to change them to suit you because you’re special and more important than the rest of us. Recently, some of the readers who are on the site for Harry Potter and the Soulmate Bond have been pitas (pains in the ass) about my writing schedule for the year and how that impacts THEM. It’s no secret that I plan to work on Sentinels of Atlantis next. I have a fuckton of Stargate fans, easily four times as many actually when compared to the HP fandom. I’d say 80% of my members are here for Stargate. They’ve been waiting for FOUR years for the second season of Sentinels of Atlantis and they’ve been patient that whole…

March 2016 Newsletter

Reading Time: 1 MinutesI’ve decided to write a monthly newsletter sort of thing. We’ll see how it goes. I celebrated Evil Author Day, of course, on February 15th.  Click on the link to check out my offerings for this most awesome fandom holiday. I’m gearing up for April Rough Trade. The last day to sign up is March 15 and the challenge begins on April 1st. Our theme this time is “Second Chances” so it’ll be pretty broad and we’re seeing a lot of fandoms in the sign up so far which went over 50 today. My personal project for April will be a Stargate time travel fic — McKay/Sheppard pairing. I made my own banner art for inspirational purposes: New Works Her Secret (Harry Potter) – Harry/Hermione – BDSM. Harry’s wife has a secret that will change their marriage. The third part of Tangled Destinies (Chaos) has been translated into Russian. You can check the series out on AO3. Works in Progress Updates Darkly Loyal is almost finished then it will go into beta which could take several months I’m on Chapter 15 of my re-write for The Unspeakable Plot Courting Hermione Granger is about 4k from being finished I’ve finished my replot on Sentinels of Atlantis Season 2 I’m ironing out the details for the season 2 plot for Harry Potter and the Soulmate Bond I’ve started my final section of Phoenix so I hope to have it ready for beta sometime at the end of May. Future Projects and Perspective

Reading Time: 1 MinutesSo, over the past few weeks I’ve had a few emails regarding future projects and where I intend to focus my energies. Normally, I don’t answer these emails with actual information because it just leads to problems but I stupidly answered these questions a handful of times to people who are rather new to my site because they came here to read Harry Potter & the Soulmate Bond. They’re also exclusively HET readers. Here’s the thing — I’m not going to cater to your homophobia. I’m never going to cater to your homophobia. I’m not going to rearrange my writing schedule to meet your needs. I’m also not going to feed your sense of entitlement. You aren’t entitled to a fucking thing. I don’t write on demand and I never have. I do this for FREE and I will write whatever the fuck I want. I’ve had several HET readers point out their belief that since they are my biggest “audience” that I should focus my energies on writing for them. So I’m going to give you some perspective on that subject:   Title Content Total Number of Views since 2011 Ties That Bind (Stargate: Atlantis) Slash 702,611 (all parts) Tangled Destinies (Star Trek) Slash 327,325 (all parts) Sentinels of Atlantis (Stargate: Atlantis) Slash 325,418 (all parts) Birth of the Serpent King (Harry Potter) Slash 204,731 That Old Black Magic (Harry Potter) Slash 203,670 Harry Potter & the Soulmate Bond (Harry Potter) HET 160,710 (all parts) The…

Reading Time: 1 MinutesThe podcast is Rated R due to my dirty mouth. Please don’t listen to it without headphones around children or in public. I talk about cock and butt-fucking a lot. The podcasts are not hosted on my site so they aren’t a burden on my bandwidth. The old podcasts have ads in them but that is from a previous hosting service. I’ll be editing and reloading them as I have time to remove the ads which no longer serve to pay for the podcast as I’m now hosted for free on Castbox. You can go to the main page for the podcast on Castbox to see the full archive of episodes. You can create an account for free and subscribe (make your own playlists and other cool stuff). Castbox does have a premium account but none of my content is premium and will be free to listen to. Short & Junk episodes are normally less than an hour long. Have a question you want me to explore? What? Fuck You!

Reading Time: 1 Minutes You’ve been sent to this page because you’re a thoughtless twat. You responded to a tweet, a Facebook status, a blog posting, or a piece of fan fiction in a way that grossly offended the writer. Or you could’ve sent a stupidly offensive email. Maybe you demonstrated a sense of entitlement on a scale so epic you left the person who gave you this link at a loss for words. That’s okay, though, because they have me. At any rate, you’ve reached this page because of your very poor fucking behavior so here are a few rules for you:   1. Don’t be a twat. 2. Don’t be an asshole. 3. Don’t ask authors when they are going to update their fucking website or archive or what the fuck ever. Seriously. You entitled twat. 4. Don’t assume that anyone on this whole planet values your opinion as much as you do. There is a 98.99% chance you’d be wrong and that would be awkward. 5. Don’t you dare demand that Draco be the bottom! 6. Don’t you dare demand that an author warn for homosexual or heterosexual content. 7. In fact, demand nothing. Just say thank you! 8. Dear Straight Woman, Calling the sex you regularly have “disgusting” is a form of self-loathing. Get therapy. 9. Don’t be surprised when that stranger on the Internet you trolled doesn’t take you seriously. After all, they sent you to this page. 10. Do remember that unless a writer asks YOU specifically for…

Contact Me

Reading Time: 2 MinutesMy site is best viewed with either Firefox  or Google Chrome. Please note that I do not take requests for stories. I don’t allow others to “continue” my work. Comments or questions are welcome. Of course, I’d rather you not use this form to do the following: Bitch about grammar or typos Complain about the slash on the site Question my mental health because of the BDSM I write Or just to be an asshole (please see rules) Request that I send you copies of my work as attachments — I will not do this! There are no ebooks on my site and I have no intention of ever supplying them. If you ask, I will ignore you. Additional notes regarding Harry Potter: Re: Phoenix – it is not available online and I don’t expect to it back up any time soon. Asking will get you nowhere as it is currently unfinished and has no chance of being published unless I finish it. While it is frustrating (and weird), it’s not actually plagiarism for someone to take my plot and rewrite it for themselves. I’m aware of the story on FF.net/A03 that is being written based on Harry Potter & the Soulmate Bond. No one can own a plot or an idea–check out my permissions page for my take on this. Is it rude to not offer some sort of token nod to the original author regarding inspiration? Yes. But, it is what it is. Note: I…

You’re Going to Hell by Rivka

Reading Time: 2 Minutes“SO, what are you here for?” “Apparently, I read too much slash..” The short red being looked up from his huge book. “You must have read an awful lot. That’s not usually enough to send someone down here, unless they’re fundamentalist Christians, too.” “Well, they told me it was the Ties That Bind series by Keira Marcos that pushed me over the edge.” The little devil perked up. “Oh, you’re a TTB fan? Still? During all these years since the series was wrapped up?” “Yeah, I even loaded it – and Tangled Destinies, and Sentinels of the Federation – into my perma-profile when the cloud got strong enough that you didn’t have to transfer stuff directly from device to device.” “Oh, now it makes sense. See, all those people who told Keira she was perverse and sinful were right, and so are all the people who were devoted to her fandom. So, we have a special section for all of you.” “Wow. Well, tell me the bad news. What is it? What’s my eternal torment?” He grabbed her arm and started walking her down the hot rock hallways. “Well, first you spend about five months where you have to pay homage to the woman who corrupted you.” “Ohhh -kay….” “Then you have to fulfill all the promises you made to her. A Flash of Lightning by K-Lee

Reading Time: 5 MinutesA Flash of Lightning by K-Lee Sebastian rushed down the stairs, his feet bare and his hair still glistening with water from the shower he had just had. He had waited until he was fully down the stairs before pulling his t-shirt over his head and tucking it into his jeans. God love Sean, but after living in the same house with the man for the last eight years had defiantly had an impact on his casual clothing choices.  While most of his peers were still wearing rather baggy jeans and t-shirts, his were much more form fitting. The last two years had seem many girls and quite a few guys take long lingering looks at his tight, lanky body. It had been different while he had been at Fountain Valley because the loose dress code meant he wore button down shirts and Dockers with a blazer. Even during his first two year at university he had worn the same style clothing as a way to look older, but the day he turned sixteen all bet were off. He had walked into the kitchen in low riding button fly jeans that clung to his hips and skimmed closely down his legs. His t-shirt had been tight across the shoulders and chest but loose over his belly, neatly hiding the six pack he had developed over the years. Sean had grinned; Declan’s mouth had dropped open and then snapped shut as he had hurried away. His Dad had…

Loving Daniel by Ladyholder

Reading Time: 5 MinutesArt by FanArts Series “I love you, you know.” Daniel looked over at the other man sitting on the couch. They were sitting like they had every evening for the last four years. He was curled into one of the corners with his feet tucked under the other mans thigh. His companion was sprawled out in the middle of the comfortable expanse, taking up far more room than he really should and radiating a lovely heat that Daniel was taking full advantage of. “I know we never really say it, but I do. I love you so damn much it scares me right down to my bones. But I can’t see me stopping either.” With his hands shaking slightly at the emotions running through him, Daniel carefully marked his place in his latest book and set it aside. Taking a deep breath, he tried to put the emotion he felt for Jack into the limited form of words. “There is nothing on this world or the next that I can see that will cause me not to love you. You have been there for me through my best and worst moments, from walking through the Stargate the first time to the death of Sha’re to my Ascension and Deasension. There is nothing I will not do to stay at your side and, yes, I do love you more than reason.” “Or the Simpsons, pie and crossword puzzles you won’t help me do.” Jack said with a soft…

Unsung Heroes by Neqs

Reading Time: 2 MinutesThe Geisha had come back from leave with a black eye. It was already fading, the last traces of it skillfully covered with make-up but visible after a shower – and there were always people in the communal showers when the Geisha was there. Not to harass or crudely ogle him, but few men had seen a Geisha before, let alone naked – and this Geisha was a stunningly beautiful man, well worth looking at. Warrant Officer Jim Dempsey knew he didn’t stand a chance with the Geisha, knew that men like that belonged to kings or generals or otherwise exceptional men. Jim wasn’t putting himself down or anything, but he knew he didn’t stand out in a crowd and wasn’t going to change the world. He wasn’t an ambitious man. He was steady rather than spectacular, getting much satisfaction from the work he did to keep things on the Ronald Reagan running smoothly. An ex he’d nearly collared had accused him of being a closet sub or switch, too passive and easy-going to be a Dom. Jim had no hard feelings for that sub, but wasted no thoughts on him either. Jim was as he was and content with that. However, he was in no way content with the fact that their Geisha had a black eye. Jim knew he had no business voicing any possessive notions about the Geisha, but he couldn’t help feeling protective of the uncollared submissives onboard. The safety and well-being of…

General O’Neill Meets Special Agent Jethro Gibbs by Ellenscult

Reading Time: 6 MinutesArt by FanArts Series “What the hell have you done with my agent?” Jack moved the phone away from his ear and winced, before putting it back. “Special Agent Gibbs, I presume,” he said dryly. In the background he could here a female voice asking anxiously where Tony was, then a male voice with a British accent attempting to calm her down. “I want to know why my agent has been transferred to an Air Force base in Colorado, when there are any number of Naval facilities that could help him. And I want to know why you haven’t bothered contacting his primary physician about whatever’s wrong with him, or his consulting physician about his lungs,” Gibbs said furiously. “If anything happens to DiNozzo, someone’s going to pay.” “Lungs?” Jack mouthed silently, then shrugged. “Special Agent Gibbs, is there some place you can go where we can continue this talk? An empty room?” “Anything you have to say can be said in front of my team,” Gibbs said. “Actually, it can’t,” Jack said. “I can tell you what happened, but not in front of an audience whose clearance I don’t know.” “What the- Fine!” Gibbs snapped. Jack heard him telling whoever it was to stay put, then seconds later, a door closed and the background noise shut off. “Talk to me,” Gibbs said tersely. “One moment.” Jack put his hand over the receiver. “Walter? Now.” A second later, there was a flash of light and one very…

Keira Marcos’ Adventure in the Mountain By Shira Lynn

Reading Time: 6 Minutes Art by FanArts Series At first glance, Keira Marcos was just a normal girl. But she had one special attribute: Her extraordinary power of imagination. Luckily, she only used this power for the good of mankind (i.e. writing absolutely fantastic fan fiction). One day, for reasons unknown, Keira happened to visit a small city called Colorado Springs. After a night full of sleep (and delicious dreams) she chose a nearby coffee shop to sit down, have a hot drink and write a few lines in her latest story. However, this proved to be rather problematic. Well, not the sitting down but the drink went definitely down the wrong way when a really, I mean REALLY, gorgeous guy came into the shop to get a coffee to go. It’s after all not every day that you get to look your fill of tall, muscular, tousle-headed man-beef, isn’t it.  *sigh* Having barely recovered from this unexpected attack on her health, Keira once more settled down behind her laptop and started to write down this saucy, hot scene about, well, a gorgeous, tall, muscular, tousle-headed guy that just sprung into her mind. But the gods had no mercy with her on this day for right as she got to the best bit the door of the coffee shop opened again to admit … a whole bunch of absolutely magnificent examples of male Homo sapiens.  And let no one say that said species does not offer diversity: There was the…

SELLING THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF ANOTHER PERSON WITHOUT PERMISSION IS A CRIME. Aside: You can be fined up to 150,000 dollars per work for willful infringement. But you’ve got that covered, right? * * * * From time to time people ask me if they can play with my ideas or whatever. The thing is that you can’t actually claim copyright on an idea or a theme. If you could — well TV would be SPARSE on the programming front and they would’ve stopped making movies shortly after my birth. Harry Potter isn’t the first kid to go to magical school. Ariel wasn’t the first (or the last) mermaid to fall in love with a human. Eragon wasn’t the first dude to live with his uncle (who was then murdered by a bad guy) only to find he had a secret sibling… (yeah, but Luke wasn’t the first one to do that either)… and later ride a dragon… Well, maybe in that particular order Eragon might be slightly unique but I wouldn’t bet my ass on it. He certainly isn’t the first or the last person to ride a dragon in fictional history. But then, you can’t even copyright a PLOT. Seriously, you can’t. Fern Gully = Avatar. Cinderella = Pretty Woman = practically every contemporary romance novel written in the…

General O’Neill and the Navy Cop by Kathana Grey

Reading Time: 6 MinutesArt by FanArts Series “General O’Neill? This is Colonel Denton Roberts from McMurdo base, Antarctica. There is a small problem you should know about.” The dour voice on the other end of the line announced. Jack glared first at his receiver and then at the mountains of paperwork on his desk. His first, not very professional reaction was to ask why he should be bothered with a ‘small’ problem that would, without a doubt, add to his paperwork, but he bit back on the words and instead grunted a ‘report’. Roberts wasn’t part of the SGC, he just knew enough to mainly ignore the men stationed there not under his command and the unusual comings and goings as long as the paperwork was in order. “Our new NCIS agent on base got involved in a situation between one of our Marine guards and one of the scientists from your research base.” “Whom did he piss of to get that assignment?” Jack groaned and silently cursed at whoever decided that fucking McMurdo needed a NCIS on base agent for the handful of marines that were officially posted there. There was silence at the other end of the line but then Roberts decided to stiffly answer Jack’s mostly rhetorical question. “Director Vance of NCIS, according to the transfer papers. But back to the problem. Apparently Sgt. Veigh asked the agent to help him. One of your scientists tried to blackmail my man. According to the agent, one Anthony DiNozzo,…

One Million Words

Reading Time: 1 MinutesIt was never a “goal” to write a million words of fan fic. I don’t even know why I started keeping an excel spreadsheet of my word count but when I realized how close I was to the one million word mark I was kind of surprised. I’m sort of continuously STUNNED by the support and genuine good will I receive from the fandoms I write in. It’s just amazing and I’ve never felt so much at home as a writer as I do when I’m working on this site. I set up this page to celebrate reaching the one million word mark. I’ll be posting links to pages on my site and off-site to celebrate. Rules

Reading Time: 1 Minutes[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGt9jAkWie4&NR=1] 1. Don’t be an asshole. 2. Don’t bash other authors on ANY part of my website. I will be furious with you if you do. 3. If gay fiction offends you– you should leave this site IMMEDIATELY. 4. Don’t waste your time leaving negative comments because they won’t be approved. This is my happy place and that means the only person who gets to show their ass here is ME. That may seem unfair and I feel for you if that upsets you– go get for your own happy place. 5. Please don’t leave me comments telling me why you WON’T be reading my work– no matter the reason. Really? Why would you waste your time with this? 6. Don’t lecture or preach at me. Apparently some people feel they should lecture me on my recent deviant writing habits. Seriously? Why do you think I care? I wrote it– so maybe I like to read it, I enjoy writing it, and maybe I let my husband spank me a little (a lot–shh). 7. If my grammar or typos drive you “BATTY” don’t read it. Seriously. Don’t torture yourself with my mistakes. I wouldn’t want you to suffer that way. Non-consensual beta is absolutely not appreciated. 8. Please don’t email me or make comments ORDERING me what to write. Seriously. If I’m not writing what you want to write — write your own damn stories. 9. Do not attempt to pick fights, insult, or otherwise abuse other…

Author Bio

Reading Time: 1 MinutesI write fan fiction to amuse myself. I don’t post it to be adored — I get enough worship from the man I married that seeking it from strangers would be rather redundant. I love my readers. REALLY. Unless they are asshats. I loathe an asshat. In the course of reading my work you will find the following: 1. Complete and total abuse of established canon events, facts, and/or characters in the shiny fandom you hold dear to your heart. 2. Huge, epic surreal type fantasies that are essentially unbelievable EVEN in a science fiction arena — because THAT is what entertains me. 3. I sometimes use betas (and they are awesome for working on my behalf in their spare time) but I don’t have a professional editor for the material on this site and I’m sure as hell not going to pay one to edit fan fiction. That being said– you will find grammar problems and typos. Nothing is perfect–least of all me. I can be a very bitchy girl so abuse me, preach at me, or lecture me at your own risk! I’m not saying I’ll curse you to sleep for a thousand years by making you prick your finger or anything (blinks innocently). +
